I’ve been looking for versatile pieces this season to wear for my summer trips, whether abroad, or at a country summer house with friends. I also need ones that can double duty from running around the city prepping for styling gigs or running around on shoots and then catching up with friends over dinner afterward.
After some searching, I think I finally found this summer’s essentials that make the perfect summer outfit that will do for all of that.
Here’s my formula:
→The lightweight cotton top is a staple that every woman should own in their wardrobe. It’s great for avoiding sunburns, you can throw it over your swimsuit, or pair it with a pair of summery bottoms for an effortlessly cool and casual look.
→Tailored shorts are a great way to look polished and stay cool. These are extremely versatile because they are appropriate for work and weekends and can be dressed up or down.
→A comfy sandal is a must-have this summer. If fashionistas are shelling out $500 for these Isabel Marant sandals, you can rock a pair of comfy ones that still look cute. Yes, Birks are back and you can do it.
