Happy Cinco de Mayo everyone!
Not to burst your celebratory bubble, but I just found out from my Mexican-born yoga instructor that the holiday is not celebrated in Mexico at all. It was just made up by certain beer companies to get us Americans to buy more beer made in Texas to think we’re being authentic. (wah-wah).
Oh well, any excuse to wear my Mexican peplum top worn by my mother in this picture and by me last summer here. I was way ahead of the peplum trend, and so was my stylin’ mom.
