You probably would never have known that we shot this spring fashion story for The Improper in the middle of the #Snowpocalypse that was happening in Boston this season, but somehow we managed to make it look like spring already.

It definitely helped that we had a gorgeous *indoor* location to make it happen and a talented prop stylist, who happens to be a friend of mine that I dragged up from NYC with me, to fill in more of the botanic in this botanical garden. It transformed it into a lush secret garden, which along with the lighting, was dreamy.

Speaking of botanical elements, the producer approached me to do this story to feature two of the biggest pattern trends of the season: bold florals and retro inspired ginghams and as you can see, I had a bit of fun with this one, working with some of my favorites like Pucci, Chanel, Gucci, Bottega Veneta, Dolce Gabbana, Altuzarra, Marchesa, just to name drop a few. With the nod to the 70’s in the fashions this season, I found the floral prints and even textures to be chic over saccharin.
