I hope that this Thanksgiving holiday/day-after-Thanksgiving-turned-holiday, Black Friday, that you stop and smell the roses. Too often we’re consumed with the commerce driven world we live in and forget that this should be a time to be thankful for what we already have in our lives.
That being said, I’m also always excited to find a good deal! I don’t have the patience to fight the next shopper for the huge bargain on the biggest shopping day of the year. Though, I’m always up for seeking out a deal. Whether it’s a sample sale, bargain store like TJ Maxx, an indie designer on Etsy, from a flash sale like Gilt Groupe or just an affordable shop like ASOS, I search for those special pieces that look expensive and well made—kind of like this entire affordable outfit.
So on this Black Friday or any other day you may shop, please shop wisely and don’t buy just for the deals, but for pieces that you or your loved ones will appreciate for years to come.

it is so true, getting something cheap just for the sake of it will only end up in your “hell” drawer!…………you pull it out a few months later and say “why the “hell” did I buy this?”
I’m totally going to start calling it a “hell” drawer! So true!
