Even though this winter—or “winter”—has been the warmest we may have ever had in NYC, I’m kind of over it. I can’t remember the last time my pasty skin felt the sun touch it. Even my extended weekend vacay in the sunshine state was an epic fail of endless stormy weather. The one thing that’s given me a light at the end of the tunnel is all of the bright colors coming in this spring’s styles.
While I was prepping for a styling job this past week, I was kind of distracted by the neon and sorbet colors around me. My uniform of city girl black made me look like I was attending a funeral next to the brightness. It made me determined to ease into spring with baby steps.
STYLING TIP: If you’re like me and can’t do/afford the full-on neon trend, I recommend this by adding hints of the colors through accessories and makeup like a purse or lip gloss.
