My Insta-Week on Location

Somehow I lucked out and the one day this week that was gorgeous and sunny out, I happened to be on location shooting the cover of a magazine at a resort on Cape Cod. While it was an exhausting day and I had to lug bags and bags and bags of clothing and accessories up and down a few flights of stairs (thank goodness for the help of an amazing crew!), it was one of those days that makes it all worth it.

I didn’t look so glamorous, running around, but it sure felt like I could get used to the scenery of this photoshoot.

My Free People pants (similar) and pasty feet that haven’t seen sun in a while match my lint roller!

Looks like Robin, our prop stylist on this shoot, also got the cobalt blue pant memo…and got stuck doing double duty as a photo assistant while on the beach.

We found this little fella pool side. Check out those fierce brows channeling Altuzarra‘s spring 2012 runway.

I pulled these amazing Prada flats that everyone on set went ga-ga for, but sadly could not use when our male model was 6’4″ and our female model was a whopping 7 inches shorter. Wah wah.

We also didn’t use these particular Sisco Berluti baubles, but I’m obsessed with the stacks of bracelets you can put together from this company—especially these mint colored ones. I’d wear these layered with my own bracelets for a beachy daytime look, or one of these sparkle accented ones at night time. …and yet another item on my wishlist.

Speaking of bracelets I’m obsessing over, this is the latest bracelet I’m adding into my stacking rotation. No, not the etc… watchband ones you see me rocking almost daily, but the Gypsies + Debutantes studded friendship bracelet I couldn’t resist getting while pulling for this shoot. The showroom made it too easy for me and now you can get your own here.
