I finally booked my first vacay away in nearly two years to New Orleans after recommendations from friends and people I’ve worked with, including Helena of Brooklyn Blonde—all of whom raved about the destination.
It can’t come soon enough, after seeing flowers beginning to bloom in NYC but with temperatures dropping even lower. Not to mention, my spring fashion video shoot this week got postponed thanks to the SNOW arriving.
What gives mother nature??
Until March goes out like a lamb, I’m breaking out all of my favorite fall and winter items as much as I can.
I’m stretching out the fall color trend of oxblood, but introducing some of my favorite spring trends like lots of chambray and pops of tropical brights like this lip color that I scored from Maybelline’s new ColorSensational Vivids line during fashion week.
I can almost feel the warm weather around the corner!

STYLIST TIP: Chambray and denim act as neutral colors, so don’t be afraid to dress them from head to toe and then add a pop of bright color, whether it’s in a shoe, bag, jewelry or even makeup.
Love the background colors in this post! And your ensemble is divine! Love its casual chicness!

I love that you’re back to outfit posts! How about you take me shopping when I come to visit? I’d love to have my own stylist for a day. 🙂 xoxo
