So we’ve been complaining about the weather being unusually cold lately for the season and all of a sudden it jumped right to summer here on the East coast. (These images were taken when it was colder and windy like a hot minute ago). What gives mother nature?
In my business, I have to be prepared for all temperatures, as where I work changes from day to day. That’s why I tend to dress in layers, and usually some kind of blazer or jacket to throw on or off. I was working on a shoot for a high end line of a popular footwear company this week and I swear it changed about 20 degrees from my wardrobe room to on set. I probably took my favorite Rag & Bone blazer on and off more times than I can count.
jacket: Zara / top: Equipment (from Marshalls) / jeans: J.Brand / boots: Steve Madden / bag: Topshop / sunglasses: Ray-Ban / bracelets: Marc by Marc Jacobs and etc…
STYLIST TIP: A blazer can also function as your lightweight jacket and look more polished than one. It’s also great for when you go to offices, restaurants or stores that blast the a/c and you don’t want to take your jacket off. This is one wardrobe staple to invest in because great tailored pieces help you look instantly more put together.
