Video Killed The Photo Shoot Star / How The Business Is Changing

Vimeo Videos

Video for T.J.Maxx with Helena Glazer of Brooklyn Blonde, styled by Liz Teich

It seems like video killed the photo shoot star.

The industry is changing and digital video is everywhere—whether it’s footage for someone’s site or an online advertisement for a product.

I recently styled a look book shoot and nearly landed on my face after tripping over someone who I didn’t see on the ground filming the behind-the-scenes video. You have to be careful because it really is everywhere.

In addition to styling for TV show segments like Good Morning America and The Katie Couric show, I’ve been busy this past year or so with styling a bunch of videos.

I’m finally adapting with the times and having Livebooks update my stylist portfolio website to one with better video capability and discovered the amazing site SaveVid.com, where I can convert a link from where the video lived online to an actual file for my portfolio.

Then I took all of the files and compiled them into a Vimeo album, which you can have a SNEAK PEEK PREVIEW HERE until my updated site is up and running later this week.

See you on the video.
