I know I’ve been a bit M.I.A. lately, but I’ve been busy with back to back—and sometimes overlapping—exciting projects that I will be sure to share with you as soon as they come out.
This weekend was a bit of a recovery from all of the lack of sleep and traveling I’ve been doing. After putting together nearly 20 looks for a fall fashion editorial last week, I hardly felt like putting together more than a mismatched bikini the past few days.
After all of that, I hopped in a car with a few friends this weekend and road tripped about 3 hours north of Brooklyn to a little oasis in upstate New York called the Peekamoose Blue Hole, which is a swimming hole that gets its name not only because of its untouched and unpolluted crystal blue water, but also because when you jump in, it turns you blue due to the ice cold temperature.
If you decide to check out this gem of nature, I highly recommend in bringing (or investing in) a pair of hiking sandals. These ones by Keen got me through trips in Costa Rica and Hawaii, as well as other places that can be a bit rocky but you don’t want to look like the nerd with the water shoes on. While they didn’t match my bikini perfectly, I definitely was happy about wearing them when all of my friends in flip-flops jumped in with bare feet.

(I’m the one holding my nose and with the reaction of “this is going to be freeeeeezing.”)
So much fun! Looks like you had an amazing time.
