I was asked to share with you the opening of a new store, which I’m excited about not only because it happens to be in my ‘hood and because this brand brings back some nostalgia for me. I remember being a teenager and saving all of my baby-sitting money to buy a coveted pair of Mavi Jeans (which I probably still got on sale).

If you’re also in the NYC area, you’re going to want to have tea time with the Downton Abbey tea truck. You can warm up and get transported to England in the 20th century with high tea and biscuits served by characters dressed from the era.
What: Downton Abbey Tea Truck
Where: Broadway between 66th and 67th St. (Westside of Manhattan)
Stop by the Tisch WNET Studios (66th St. & Broadway) between 11am – 7pm for an all-day marathon screening of Downton Abbey Season 3. Get caught up on all the drama before Season 4′s January 5th premiere.
