In case you haven’t noticed lately, NYC has been HOT. I felt terrible that my new blogger buddy, Renata of Scorpion Disco, was visiting NYC this week from Boston for some meetings. We commiserated about trekking in this city during the heat wave over some delicious Latin food—in some glorious air conditioning—at my new favorite 24/7 spot in the West Village, Coppelia.
Like a true city girl (by way of Philly) Renata swapped from flats to the espadrilles she carried in her bag. I, on the other hand, like a true stylist in NYC, opted for comfort while running around the city. Of course my footwear was just as fashionable, but we definitely looked like we were headed to two different fashionable places from the ankles down. Otherwise, we both coordinated with our on trend black and white and bold stripes. Birds of a feather truly do flock together.
