I don’t know about you, but this rainy weather has been quite uninspiring for me.
What I have been inspired by is all the catching up of Mad Men I’ve been doing on Netflix lately. While most have been looking to Joan or Peggy for style influences, but I found myself drawn to Betty Draper’s wardrobe, especially her equestrian wear.
Banana Republic’s Mad Men inspired line, by costume designer Janie Bryant, is currently out in stores now. Apparently Banana and I have been on this trend for years, with this Chanel style jacket that happened to be in the back of my closet already. I paired it with some classic pieces that scream Grace Kelly more than rainy day blues.
