Desigual is known for their bold patterns and colors, always taking inspiration from their native Barcelona, Spain. They’re also known for being one of the more fun shows at Lincoln Center. Models strutted down with hearts and high-fives, yet this youthful brand had quite the sophisticated collection—note the gold tipped finger gloves—with gold jacquard and coordinating jewel tones and quite a bit of red, evoking the “Love In The City” theme to the collection. Whit kicked off the official first day of NYFW at Inglot Studios in Chelsea Market. Designer and member of the CFDA incubator program, Whitney Pozgay was inspired by Scandinavian art and folklore and it was evident with the modern Heidi-style hair and quirky styling, complete with jewelry from fellow indie darling, Lizzie Fortunato and a new shoe collaboration.
