The Perfect Holiday Dress

The Perfect Holiday Dress

November 26, 2018

Dress: Maggy London (c/o)  | Shoes: DSW | Coat: H&M | Bag: Tory Burch runway | Earrings: Mango

One day into the Thanksgiving hangover, aka the Monday after the holiday, and it suddenly feels a lot like the holidays are here. This may be the first year I feel like I have THE perfect dress, but no where to wear it to. The funny thing about the holiday season is that things always pop up at the last minute, so I’m totally prepared with this sparkly festive frock from Maggy London.

I’m not a glittery sparkles kind of gal but this dress does it in a sophisticated way that I can get on board with. I chose this dress because of the 70’s vibes that are totally my style and I’m always cold so the long sleeves make it the perfect dress for me.

The thing I love about Maggy London dresses is that they are great for any holiday occasion from work parties to drinks with friends. They’re timeless and sexy in a demure way, which is what I look for in a dress, especially as a 30 something mama living in New York who needs to look stylish but still age appropriate.

They’re also budget friendly and especially for today only (Cyber Monday) they’re ALL 40% OFF!!!!* SHOP MY PICKS BELOW FOR EVERY OCCASION.

The phrase “all dressed up and no where to go” resonates with me right now because I have this fabulous holiday frock in my closet ready for all of the festivities, but I’m ready for them now. At the very least, I’m going to wear this to a date night with the hubby at my favorite local spot, Clover Club (as one of you on Instagram suggested when I asked where should I wear this to!).

Thank you Maggy London for partnering with me on this post. What I choose to wear and all opinions are 100% my own.
