While the polar vortex seems to be never-ending, we’re having somewhat of a heat wave here in NYC this week—50 degrees and no snow in the forecast—so it could make someone count the days until spring (one month!).

One of my surprisingly favorite trends this coming season is the sporty trend. While I’m not much of an athlete past the sun salutations I do in yoga, I love this look probably because there’s a bit of an edge to it with a lot of black and white and interesting materials/silhouettes. From the mesh and leather in unexpected places to the prevalence of comfy but cool sneakers, what’s not to love?

Hey, if Chanel could get away with their models wearing them on the runway, I was all about it this past fashion week when I acceptably wore my Adidas kicks.
