My favorite outfit, circa 1980’s
There are just some of those outfits in your life that make you feel like a million bucks when you wear them. This happens to be my first one in memory that had that effect on me.
If you were not around in the 1980’s or just not up on your 80’s pop culture, then Google “Small Wonder.” Otherwise, you may remember the TV show’s main character was a child robot that resembled a kid. I dreamed of being that kid robot, named Vicki, who happened to wear a similar froofy dress. Looking back on it now, I think I resembled something similar to Raggedy Ann (or Andi…get it?), but I remember begging to wear this outfit quite often nonetheless.
