1 – If you’ve been seeing people dress a bit more punk-inspired this week (perhaps myself included), you can thank the brilliant exhibition due out this Thursday at the Met’s Costume Institute called PUNK: Chaos to Couture. The only thing I can’t wait for more than the exhibition itself is probably the cool red carpet fashion at the opening gala.

3 – Even though I have to do it often for my work as a stylist, I was happy to take my two sisters shopping around NYC when they came to visit me this past weekend. Lucky for me, I scored these comfy and way cute kicks from the Adidas store in SoHo. I’m a sucker for brogues and it’s a bonus that these hybrid sneakers are comfortable enough for working all day or running around the city!

STYLIST TIP: Someone just asked me where I got these jeans because they’ve been looking for a pair with a shorter length like this for summer. Well, look no further than your closet and your tailor. Bring your jeans in with the shoes you plan on wearing the most with them and have them take up the hem. *Make sure you ask to keep the original hem so it looks natural.*
