What a cinch!

Nanette Lepore bow blouse and BCBG tux jacket (both at TJMaxx); Milly skirt (sample sale); Hue tights; Fiorentini + Baker boots (Barney’s Warehouse Sale); Nona E. Rose Belt (Henri Bendel on 5th Avenue through Sunday 12/11).

“I looove your outfit. That’s exactly how I want to dress for my holiday party. I must take a mental picture of your look,” were all things people said to me while I was at Henri Bendel helping out my dear friend and talented designer, Rachel of Nona E. Rose for her trunk show. I felt honored to hear these flattering words while at one of the most carefully curated department stores in New York, if not the world. Though, I owe it to my cute belt.

I opted for a bright pink one today, which I would normally never have gone for, but I was drawn to it and loved the way it gave me the pop of color my outfit needed. Of course, the lover of black and brown in me was also drooling over the buttery calfskin leather belts…don’t be surprised if you see me rocking it in the next few posts.

Before I could get my hands on them, the velvet holiday belts were selling out (just a few more left!). There’s some savvy shoppers at Bendel’s that realize that it’s perfect way to add some pizazz and shape to your holiday frock.

Stop by the 2nd floor at Henri Bendel Friday through Sunday and meet the designer herself this weekend. Prices range from $45-$140.
