My gorgeous (and also stylish) art director friend, Sara, and I felt a bit out of place the other day while strolling through Peekskill, New York.
We were definitely overdressed to pick up iced coffees at the Peekskill Coffee Shop, but it was a necessary trip with the time we had to kill between our friends’ wedding ceremony and reception. It sparked a lot of turned heads and cat calling, as we were pretty dolled up for a Saturday afternoon in the ‘burbs.
I love being able to dress up and my physically demanding job rarely gives me the opportunity to. It was so fun to feel like a scene from Sex & The City, with our cocktail dresses and heels, grabbing coffee. If only every day were that glamorous!
