My body may be back in Brooklyn, but somehow my mind is still 6 hours away on a tropical island. (Oh the joys of jet lag!). I thought I’d feel a bit more New Yorkie today by dressing like it. I finally am back in my beloved color black (though still summery and sheer).
Though, being true to my stylista form, I’m brightening up my sleepiness with (affordable & on trend) pops of gold jewelry and my burst of lip color à la Jenni Kayne’s fall 2011 runway show.
My current fav is Josie Moran’s magic marker lip stain in Jitterbug. It makes you feel like a kid again, coloring in your lips to look like you just ate a popsicle, while staying through the Grande Lattes you chug.
