Black and Blues

Rag & Bone blazer; Jason Wu for Target top; San & Soni pants (similar); ASOS clutch; Zara belt; Plenty by Tracy Reese shoes; Jewelry by Beth Lauren necklace and bracelet; Shaya square bangles; Alex & Ani charm bangles

When I wear something that has a sweetness to it—like this pleated aqua top—I always need to balance out the rest of my look with somewhat of an edge to avoid being cutesy.

I just discovered the gorgeous designs of Beth Lauren that have the same balance of edgy and sweet. The designer, based out of D.C., has an eye for creating statement pieces like this necklace and some every day glam pieces like this bracelet that have a playful bohemian edge, yet are completely sophisticated. Sounds like my style! It’s no wonder why celebs are rocking her designs and now I’m on the bandwagon too.

  1. I do the same thing! I hate being too girly or too prim and proper. I love the look of bows, for example, but I feel like it’s so hard for me to pull them off.

  2. This is a beautiful outfit. I love the soft color or the blouse, the strong pop of the purse, and the high contrast place pieces with lovely accessories. You look great!!!
