Livin' on The Edge

I went to the most incredible NYC wedding this past weekend (aside from my own of course), located at the Water’s Edge in Long Island City—which was literally at the water’s edge, overlooking the entire city skyline. This of course required an equally eye-catching frock for the occasion.

I recently had a major event that I was about to rent a fabulous dress for from Rent The Runway and I oddly enough found THAT dress at TJMaxx, while shopping for a job! While I’m all for renting a dress for that special event that you only want to be seen in on that night, this Maladrino knock out is worth the splurge to wear for years to come (though, I still only paid 1/4 of the price!).

The retro draping reminded me of the outfits my mother, “Andi,” would get decked out in for her date nights with my father and fabulous dinners. I went with it and topped it with a Dynasty-esque jacket and collar necklace. Nothing says classy like a great red nail polish, like OPI “Red.”

Of course, I had to Liz-ify the look with my stack of cool jewelry, including my new fav stacker from Vanessa Mooney—perfect for any occasion.

xo Liz
