I’m very girly, according to my hubby.

True, but I do like to tone it down a bit with some menswear in my wardrobe. The most obvious way to add some menswear into your wardrobe is by borrowing your man’s shirt. I prefer to buy my own man’s shirt (it’s a woman’s world after-all).

It’s even easier now to rock some menswear in your wardrobe. It helps that hipster boys are wearing the same sizes we wear, so I can get a shirt like this inexpensive one from Urban Outfitters, without needing to alter it.

You can also dress like the boys, but with a feminine and edgy twist with pieces like these cool Sam Edelman loafers that I’ve been drooling over on endless.com or this men’s inspired watched in a not so manly rose gold color by Michael Kors.

The guys will be jealous.

STYLIST TIP: BALANCE YOUR MENSWEAR INSPIRED PIECE WITH MORE FITTED CLOTHING, AS WELL AS SOME MORE FEMININE ACCESSORIES.

THAT WAY, YOU WON’T BE MISTAKEN FOR DRESSING UP EARLY FOR HALLOWEEN AS TERRY FROM “JUST ONE OF THE GUYS.”
