While I’m stuck in Boston working on a big advertising shoot this week, I’m dreaming of Milan and all of the exciting fashion that is to be expected for the spring in 2013. It was prints galore on the runways—and some fun ones too. When there weren’t prints, it seemed everything went totally minimalism, yet with a chic updated silhouette.
Go figure, the one designer you’d expect to see tons of prints from was Pucci, yet it was like the prints took over the rest of Milan and didn’t have any left for the usually vibrantly patterned brand. Luckily the brand didn’t disappoint with some gorgeous sheer fabrics.
The one pitfall of the season for me seems to be color is the new black. Wah wah. There goes this New York City gal’s whole wardrobe. Looks like I’m going to have another New Years’ style resolution of adding color to my wardrobe again…
Well, at least white seems to be going strong for yet another season and my girl Miuccia Prada has got my back with the black!
