I’d like to think I inspired Miu Miu’s current collection, but more likely Miuccia and I just both have a thing for modern vintage looks. I’m also digging that the 40’s inspired collection was paired with tromp l’oiel heeled booties (like these from Nordstrom which I’m drooling over!), but this sensible stylista who decided to walk over the Manhattan Bridge from Chinatown to Brooklyn, luckily wore comfy menswear inspired flats.
STYLIST TIP: If you are a lover of all things vintage like me, then make sure you get pieces tailored if needed. A $20 steal could like just that. If you alter it to your liking by taking it in, raising the hemline, adding some darts, cut off sleeves, etc. (or even more like something you may have seen on the runway), your bargain will look like it cost a fortune.
