On Target

Jason Wu for Target top and skirt (For a limited time at Target); H&M belt; ASOS portfolio clutch; Vince Camuto shoes (TJMaxx); House of Harlow sunnies (similar online at Crush Boutique); vintage Lucite bangles; etc… watchband earrings.

I’m determined to skip this winter and so far I’m on track for that goal. Never mind that this has been the mildest season possibly ever in NY, but the spring collections are just so fun that I can’t wait to start wearing warm weather gear.

I lucked out here in somewhat sunny and quite humid in Florida for a few days–not just because of the jacket-free weather, but I managed to be staying in walking distance to a Target just in time for Jason Wu’s collection debut for the store.

For those of you who don’t know this talented young designer, you’ve definitely seen his chic dress designs on his most notable customer, Michelle Obama. Now he brought his feminine NYC-based designs to the masses and people like me can actually afford them.

A flirty floral knife-pleated skirt for $30…how can you say no? It pairs nicely with his top for also under $30, my $6 H&M belt, and $35 ASOS clutch. Now that’s what I call sensible style.

  1. Absolutely love the outfit. I especially love the way you found very affordable prices for your pieces… as opposed to the very expensive Jason Wu clothes that are out of most peoples reach.
