Borghese shadow palette, liner, and lip color in “Grappa” (c/o)
- This time of year it’s all about getting holiday season ready. Thanksgiving, those holiday parties, vacation, New Years… the list goes on. On top of all of the gifts and thanks you’ll be giving, chances are you’ll be stepping up your makeup game this season. I just discovered this amazing eyeshadow palette that has all of the neutrals that are flattering on just about everyone and shades to take them from day to night. I’m not a fussy person when it comes to eyeshadow. I tend to keep it natural, so these colors are perfect for me to wear everyday, but then step it up for those endless events this season.
- Also with this season, you’re going to have to step up your wardrobe game and it can get pricey. Looking like a million bucks doesn’t actually have to be that expensive. My secret to doing just that is by renting designer pieces from Village Luxe (follow my closet here) , shopping on discount flash sale retailers like Gilt Groupe and Amuze, and buying pre-owned designer pieces from apps/sites like Poshmark (follow my closet here) and Snobswap.
- It’s finally getting colder—and more like fall—in NYC, so I’ve been wearing my over-the-knee (these gorgeous Rebecca Minkoff ones) or at-the-knee boots (like the Stuart Weitzman pair pictured above) to death lately. You can’t have too many pairs of them because they’re not going out of style anytime soon and they instantly make any outfit look more polished and elevated. One day (in my dreams) I’d love to splurge on this striking Stuart Weitzman gray pair that nearly every model I work with owns, until then, this more affordable Ivanka Trump pair is more likely in the cards.
