After seeing all of my friends on the West Coast enjoying Coachella last week, I’m having a bit of music fest envy at the moment. I haven’t had much time this year to go to concerts sadly, but that doesn’t mean I can’t dress less I’m going to one!

I was working with designs from E.Kammeyer for a shoot last week and just happened to fall in love with this turban headband from her spring collection. It’s been seen on celebs and now maybe at future music festivals (wishful thinking!).

Of course if I had the chance to attend a music festival this spring/summer, I’d swap these pants for my worn in Levi’s denim shorts and my grey Hunter Wellies to combat the mud. Who’s in??

This spring is all about the prints like tropical motifs, florals and even birds. Don’t be surprised if you see this taking flight on the streets—and I don’t mean the pigeons about to hit you.

Can you believe it’s only April? While the West Coasters are dressed for Coachella (I’m jealous!), we’re just starting to prepare for summer here on the other side of the country. Luckily I just made the switchover in my closet and broke out my warm weather gear. The sweaters are officially stored away!

This early spring cleaning forced me to dig out my old clothing that I have worn in the past couple of seasons and finally got them ready to either donate or consign. For those that are new to the consigning idea, it’s the best way to see if you can make $$ off of your designer pieces, while donating the rest.

This season, I’m working with Leftover Luxuries to sell my pieces like a pair of Marc by Marc Jacobs shoes that I sadly realized that they were just too small on me after I wore them once and a vintage Versace top that I bought years ago for a photoshoot with 90’s fashions and haven’t figured out what to do with it. Contact my friend Kim there if you are in the same boat as I am or stop by on April 27th – May 6th to pick up designer pieces like mine at a low price.

My gorgeous (and also stylish) art director friend, Sara, and I felt a bit out of place the other day while strolling through Peekskill, New York.

We were definitely overdressed to pick up iced coffees at the Peekskill Coffee Shop, but it was a necessary trip with the time we had to kill between our friends’ wedding ceremony and reception. It sparked a lot of turned heads and cat calling, as we were pretty dolled up for a Saturday afternoon in the ‘burbs.

I love being able to dress up and my physically demanding job rarely gives me the opportunity to. It was so fun to feel like a scene from Sex & The City, with our cocktail dresses and heels, grabbing coffee. If only every day were that glamorous!
