Tell Me About It, Stud

Kimchi Blue romper (similar online) / Simply Vera by Vera Wang sandals (similar online) / J.Crew hat (mine is from Brimfield Antique Fair, imported from Ecuador and sold to J.Crew!) / Gypsy Nation vintage bag (Artists and Fleas)etc… Modern Vintage necklace and watchband bracelet / Gypsies + Debutantes bracelets (coming soon, others online) / Alex and Ani bracelets / Shaya bangles

I can’t resist studs—especially when they’re on accessories and done right. As much as I love the styles from the classic East Village punk shop Trash and Vaudeville, I don’t want to look like I walked out of an 80’s music video.

I do, however, like to balance out what could look cutesy (like a romper) with an edge.

It was the perfect outfit for a stroll around Brooklyn for my neighborhood’s annual “Sunday Funday” festival where I picked up a hand made coffee table from reclaimed wood and piping, as well as some yummy treats from By Brooklyn. The studs may have even helped me get through the crowds of people there.
