Whoa, when did it become fall? When the temperature dropped like 40 degrees this weekend, I geared up for the season’s early arrival by piling on the layers.
While picking up some pieces for a photoshoot from indie designers like Fancy Sexy Me, I ran into one of my favorite menswear designers of the moment, Alexander Campaz, in Williamsburg. This stylish Brooklynite was feeling the fall chill too with a cozy knit cardi that even I would rock. It seemed like even all of the hipsters and trendsetters of the neighborhood—who are often known to wear little or skin tight clothing—were feeling the brisk air.
Another up-and-coming designer that I recently discovered is the talented Vanessa Mooney and her gorgeous boho with an edge style jewelry. Helllo! Was this jewelry not made for me?? I guess stylish celebs like Katie Holmes and Sienna Miller agree. Too bad this chick lives on the other coast, because I would so love to tour her studio. This wrap bracelet made from a zipper will have to do for now.
