Unseasonably Warm

Zara Trench coat (Zara); Zara v-neck sweater (Zara); Levis jeans (similar at Urban Outfitters); Nona E. Rose custom leather belt; Indian made scarf (Artists & Fleas Market); Coach carry-all bag; Bloch jazz shoes (Gilt Groupe); House of Harlow 1960 sunnies (Crush Boutique, Boston) Marina Pecoraro skull and rope bracelet (Artists & Fleas Market), all other jewelry, vintage.

I’m never quite sure what to wear when it’s 70 degrees in New York in late November. Though, I know I can’t go wrong with a classic trench coat, like this super affordable yet well made one from Zara. Throw that over a sweater and jeans mixed with a pair of flat oxfords and I’m prepared if the temperature rises or drops 20 degrees.

To complete this classic look, I love this easy classic hair style that I always see hair stylists on photo shoots whipping together. For once, it really is as easy as it looks…

Pull hair back into a low pony tail and secure with a thin band that matches your hair color. Take a small section of hair from that and wrap around the band a few times.

Secure the ends with a bobby pin also matching your hair color.

Good to go—whether it’s spring in the fall or winter next week or even next year.
