While I love fashion and some may say girly, I’m not a girl when it comes to Valentine’s Day. Sure, flowers and a nice dinner always are welcomed, but it’s just another day with higher expectations.

This year, I even plan on spending it on the couch watching horror movies with the hubby over takeout. It also happens to be a few days after the anniversary of when we met 10 years ago, so we’ll be doing a fancy dinner earlier. Even so, I’m not going to run out and buy a new outfit just for the occasion—I’m going to rent it.

You may have seen my posts on the new game changer in fashion, but Village Luxe is my source this week between New York Fashion Week and my fancy dinner. I probably would never purchase an off-white bag in fear of ruining it, but it’s perfect to rent for the week to go with my fashion week wardrobe to my romantic evening. Valentino for Valentine’s Day sounds better to me than a new dress I may only wear once!

If you’re stumped at what to wear this Valentine’s Day or any other occasion from and event to just life, you can make an appointment with a fabulous stylist like myself at the new service via Gilt Groupe at Gilt by Appointment inside their NYC office.
