People often ask me what to wear for a particular occasion and I love coming up with the perfect solution for them, working with pieces probably already existing in their wardrobe.
When I had to go to a bridal shower at a restaurant in this in between fall season, I was nearly stumped myself.
I’ve been to bridal showers in the warmer months (a cute sundress will do), most of which were at someone’s home (a little bit more casual is acceptable).
I didn’t want to be over dressed for this event, but I definitely didn’t want to show up way under dressed, or worse, dressed for the wrong season.
You can’t go wrong with dressing down an otherwise dressy dress for an occasion like a bridal shower. I’ve worn this feminine frock to fancy weddings before, but with the help of less formal and more playful pieces like this jacket and booties, it is instantly ready for just about any celebration.
