I went with my photographer friend, Jess, to The Brightest Color concert at the Bowery Electric the other night and was surrounded by tattooed hipsters, along with some of the most stylish city folk in this East Village spot.
I felt right in place with my vegan leather shorts from Piperlime. They’re the perfect day to night short that are both lighter weight (necessary in this heat wave) and good for your conscious.
Speaking of which, did you check out the beautiful beaded bracelet brightening up my arm candy? It’s hand crocheted by women in Nepal to keep them from human trafficking and give them a fair wage for a better life. They’re not only beautifully made by artisans—each one takes an hour to make—but they are for a good cause. Get one or an arm-worth in a variety of colors here.
