Getting over a nasty cold is not a fun way to spend New Years Eve (yet it sure beat the year had a stomach virus). Somehow I got myself dolled up and made it out to the pre-opening of a friends’ bar in the East Village. I always believe a great outfit can effect how you feel.
Yes, my New Years resolution was to introduce more color in my wardrobe, but I couldn’t resist this fun black ostrich feather skirt that I scored at a clothing swap.
Apparently, I wasn’t the only one—another stylish gal at the party wore a nearly identical version of my skirt! Birds of feather flock together. (I couldn’t resist)!
