Cozy Sweater

thebrooklynstylist cozy sweater

Just last week in NYC we had spring-like weather and 60 degree temperatures. Suddenly it feels like winter here and all I want to do is throw on a big cozy sweater.

I’m so excited I discovered StyleWe just in time for this season because I don’t want to splurge on new sweaters, which can be pricey, but for $54, it won’t break the bank (it may look like it did though!). They have so many amazing knitwear pieces that I probably could stock up on a few more for winter.

The oversized sleeves are right on trend for this season and this oatmeal color is one of those universal ones that looks great on just about everyone. This is one of those pieces that I wish came in every color because I would buy them all. Until then, I will be wearing this one like it’s my uniform this season. This winter is predicted to be the warmest one on record, so I may just not turn my heat on and cuddle up in this knit.

Contrary to what you probably have heard about proportional dressing, just because you are wearing an over-sized top, doesn’t mean you have to go slim on bottom anymore. This season especially it’s all about volume—thank goodness because with Thanksgiving and the holidays coming up, I’ll be happy to hide the extra winter weight! Go ahead and pair your oversized sleeves with dramatic over-sized pants, or even like I did, with a straight or boyfriend jean.

Get this cozy sweater and score a Thanksgiving discount on top of the affordable price!
