Fall Forward

I can’t believe NY Fashion Week is only a week away—which means we are thisclose to fall. It’s all happening so quickly.

If you (or your wallet) are not ready for fall shopping, then there are so many great places to get your “back to school” shopping done.

A friend of mine that is going back to work as a first year teacher asked me where she could get some affordable work clothing. As you can probably tell by now, I’m a fan of anything that’s designer at a discount, so I swear by stores like TJMaxx and Marshalls for when I’m shopping for both myself and my clients. They are one stop shops, so I can get my shopping done for everyone at once—and for a fraction of the cost.

I’m also now loving the popular Canadian store that is taking over America, Joe Fresh. If you haven’t heard of it yet, you soon will—and will want to shop there. The clothing looks like it could be right off the Fashion Week runways, but for K-Mart prices. While styling a video shoot the other day, I had an actress wear a $20 top from the brand and when she found out the price, she bought the shirt off of her back!

Happy shopping!
