For those of you who have been wondering what I’ve been doing during my escapes from NYC to my second home of Boston, well this is some of what I’ve been busy (and having fun) with lately. It was both a challenge and a blast to just pick a few styles to recommend for this holiday season.

Working on this Boston Magazine shoot, I was able to do what I love best: mixing a bit of high fashion (Louboutins, Chanel, Prada) with a bit more of the sensible (H&M, BB Dakota, Alexis Bittar). The hardest part was choosing just a few pieces—though we squeezed in a few more fun ones like this gorgeous head piece from Colette Malouf in for the table of contents page.

The Boston Globe Magazine shoot was also a welcomed challenge for me. Everything had to be affordable (um, my specialty) to the reader. I had fun mixing up the reasonably expected (Club Monaco, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Anthropologie, Aldo) with designers you may not have heard of (MiH jeans, Gypsy 05, Corso Como, Roarke New York, Warby Parker) for every holiday occasion from an office party (shown above), hosting a holiday party, going out with the girlfriends and a date night.

Get ready for the holidays…
