While I’m “The Brooklyn Stylist” and I’m a NYC gal in my style, there’s something about the LA ease that I gravitate towards. I look forward to the warmer months in the city to break out more of that LA meets Brooklyn style. Not that I want to dress like I’m going to Coachella every day, but there’s nothing easier yet put together than throwing on a breezy romper and some classic worn in Chucks, paired of course with my beachy hair (thanks to this product and a quick flat-iron to the ends).

I recently discovered the Cali brand, Tobi, just in time for the warmer months and at their insanely affordable prices, I could basically outfit my entire wardrobe for the season with just their pieces. This off-the-shoulder floral romper was a no-brainer, as it’s effortless and totally on trend, but you won’t feel bad if the off-the-shoulder thing becomes a thing of the past because the price is so low. It was the perfect look to wear while strolling around DUMBO with the hubby on an unseasonably warm night recently.

Speaking of effortless West Coast style, I also recently discovered the Brooklyn-based jewelry Bluma Project, which works with artisans around the world to create unique accessories, while giving jobs to people in developing countries. They’re a small company that’s already selling out in major retailers and are a perfect way to add some of that beachy LA style to a look like this one.
