How many brides get the chance to slip back into their wedding dress for a second time and pretend it’s your wedding day all over again? (Okay, wearing it while doing the dishes doesn’t count).
I was fortunate to have this experience back in August with an unforgettable photo shoot with the über talented photographer, Uma Sanghvi. We were able to get permission to shoot at 5 Beekman Street—the abandoned palace of over 65 years, tucked away in lower Manhattan. It was quite the Sex & The City moment. I even channeled my inner Carrie Bradshaw with a dramatic headpiece by the industry’s go-to milliner, Leah Chalfen of Leah C. Couture Millinery.
In the words of Miss Bradshaw herself, “Women come to New York for the two L’s: Labels and Love.”
