NYFW DAY 1 // One official day of New York Fashion Week down…and I’m already getting fashion fatigue. Luckily this season, I’ve decided to put comfort (near) first over style and am sticking with more comfortable shoes to run around the city in. While other ladies are complaining to me about their heels or how cold they are, I opted to dress to save myself for the long haul. A fun pair of gold boots are just as chic and eye-catching as a killer pair of heels.
Little did I know that it was going to snow during the day, so a vintage suede skirt probably wasn’t the best idea, but I couldn’t resist wearing it with my 70’s inspired Saint Laurent booties. The 70’s trend is going strong this coming season, which I’m psyched about because it’s already my style. My wardrobe is accidentally trendy and I can break out some of my favorites like this skirt, which is VERY similar to a lot of the ones out this season! Luckily the flurries tapered off just as Emily and I snapped shots of each other between shows and the skirt was saved.
STYLIST TIP: Tie your scarf in a low bow for a 70’s style effortlessly cool, but refreshing way to wear your scarf.
