Whit kicked off the official first day of NYFW at Inglot Studios in Chelsea Market. Designer and member of the CFDA incubator program, Whitney Pozgay was inspired by Scandinavian art and folklore and it was evident with the modern Heidi-style hair and quirky styling, complete with jewelry from fellow indie darling, Lizzie Fortunato and a new shoe collaboration.
The pieces were feminine, quirky, yet all wearable, with standouts that included ink patterned prints, nubby sweaters, a furry jacket, fuller patterned skirts and buttery leather mixed with stripes. Jumpsuits also prevailed into another season. This is a collection that everyone from Zooey Deschanel to the girl next door…definitely in Brooklyn would love to get their hands on.
