This is slightly delayed, but it’s been a whirlwind of a week and New York Fashion Week is just starting to wind down for me. This outfit was from the 2nd day (Friday) and it got quite a bit of attention—to the point where street style photographers were telling me to stop…and on my count walk…wait…now…walk… It was like a photoshoot in Lincoln Center!
blazer and skirt: c/o Dana-Maxx | top: H&M | belt: vintage | shoes: Helmut Lang | bag: 3.1 Phillip Lim | sunglasses: Warby Parker | necklace and stacked rings: c/o Chloe & Isabel | bracelet: c/o Naked Label
First when, I checked out the Kate Spade presentation downtown, I ran into the Dallas Shaw of Dilly Dallas, and the Huffington Post photographed us for their Street Style section (I suspect because she’s adorable).
I also got interviewed that evening at a party uptown by one of my favorite fashion sites, Racked, on my “shoetastrophe” which it wasn’t enough that my beloved Helmut Lang shoes broke that day, but that they ended up getting caught in my maxi skirt en route to the Rebecca Minkoff show while photographers were snapping away for street style shots. Just my luck.
Please don’t mind the mis-quote that says that I was walking with my friend Becky M. aka Rebecca Minkoff.
