This weekend it was time to spring forward with our clocks and it finally felt like the beginning of spring with the first sitings of crocuses blooming and New Yorkers outside smiling.
I finally had a chance to utilize my membership to the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens. While there wasn’t much blossoming just yet—and still snow on the ground, there were plenty of indoor gardens that made us in the mood for the season to arrive.
It was also a great excuse to break out my new Christian Siriano brogues that I’ve been drooling over since they strutted on the runway back in September.
STYLIST TIP: When incorporating this season’s “sorbet color” trend in your wardrobe, try mixing it with some edgier pieces for a fresher look that’s more sophisticated than sweet.
