This year’s Met Gala may have had a stricter dress code thanks to Anna Wintour cracking down after last year’s more revealing appearances. This year’s red carpet for the annual fundraiser for the Metropolitan Museum Costume Institute proved to be a bit more demure in taste—though some more daring than others—keeping in mind the theme of this year’s exhibition that exemplifies 50’s glamour: “Charles James: Beyond Fashion.”
