As a stylist, I’m always on the hunt for great fashion, so when I heard H&M owned brand & Other Stories was opening in NYC a couple of years ago, I jumped on board and have been addicted to it ever since for both myself and my shoots. I always felt like this brand is my best kept shopping secret. It seems like only those in the know with fashion feel the same way.
Everything is designed in Paris, Stockholm and even LA so it’s the epitome of cool girl, effortless style, while being both on trend and affordable. Unlike most fast fashion, & Other Stories still takes pride in ethical and sustainable values and even has a recycling program to trade in old clothes for a discount.
Also unlike other fast fashion brands, you probably won’t see everyone and you’re mom wearing the same exact outfit. Despite being a part of the H&M brand, it’s more like a boutique and everything seems to sell out pretty quickly.
When & Other Stories recently asked to partner, I couldn’t wait! I wanted everything on their site this month, but ended up choosing this versatile midi skirt and these on trend cat eye sunglasses.
The midi skirt is a great length for me to wear both mom-ing and to work without being too short. It was hard to choose which midi skirt from their site but ultimately my hubby said the red one was his favorite and it’s perfect for me to wear for the upcoming July 4th holiday.
I paired it with a basic white tee, denim jacket and dressed it up with heels for a date night, but I’ll probably rock it with a concert tee and sneakers or white booties for other occasions. How would you wear it?
Funny enough, it’s not the first time I’ve posted about a midi skirt from this cool brand.
I just haven’t been able to get on board with the small sunglasses trend this season, but I’ve been wanting to try something on trend that wasn’t as drastic. These cat eye sunglasses feel fresh with a nod to the retro style. At just $29 it’s a no brainer to try it out.

Thank you & Other Stories for partnering with me on this post. All opinions and what I choose to wear are as always 100% my own. Read more about the background of the brand here.
I’m dying over this skirt! You look great in it!!
