Election Day is almost here, so I partnered with White House Black Market this month to show my red, white and blue pride in honor of what will likely be a historic day.
I chose this beautiful white double breasted coat from their collection because it brightens up any outfit and the gold details make it look so luxe. It’s also totally unexpected and refreshing to wear a white coat during the colder months.
The red turtleneck I wore with it is more of a burgundy color, which is going to be perfect to take me from fall into the holiday season. I paired the polished pieces with their “girlfriend jean” (think boyfriend jean but a little slimmer and more flattering) so that way it still kept it casual—more my style.
While I love a good heel, I’m more realistically a flats girl because of my busy life. These coordinating reddish-burgundy smoking slipper flats are possibly my favorite new addition to my closet. Between the mixed textures of patent, calf hair and gold tone hardware, they look so luxurious, but still comfortable enough for running around the city from showroom appointments, shopping for a shoot to on my feet all day on a photoshoot set—or perhaps even rushing over to the polls come Tuesday.

I don’t know about you, but I’m excited to be a part of this historic election (I even voted early!). No matter what side of the political fence you’re on, it’s important to exercise your right to VOTE in what could be the closest election in our lifetime. Wear your red, white and blue with pride… it will look great while Instagramming yourself with your “I voted” sticker of course.
