Liz in “action” on set with some of the items in her kit.
I’ve been asked by just about every assistant of mine, “what do you think I should have in my kit?” and my friends constantly ask me about styling tricks and tools they should use for their wardrobes. I haven’t seen a comprehensive list out there and had no reference for when I first started out in the business, so I’ve decided to come up with a reference for both pros and fashionistas.
Whether you’re an aspiring stylist or just want to be a pro in your closet, here’s a checklist of styling essentials that I keep in my own kit that I think everyone should have.
So go ahead and save it, share it, pin it up in your closet or on Pinterest…just please credit Dear Andi. 🙂
This is fabulous! Thank you!!!
An impressive list! I’m sure this list would be useful as a guide to any aspiring stylist. Do you recommend any particular online sources for some of the products you favor?
Thanks Anita! While they haven’t paid me to endorse them, I always am a big fan of my one stop shop, Manhattan Wardrobe Supply – http://www.wardrobesupplies.com
