It occurred to me recently that I should be sharing more than just my outfits, advice and #momlife with you. Many of you have been sending me messages on Instagram saying that you’re loving seeing a behind-the-scenes insider look at the fashion industry and what it’s like to be a fashion stylist, so I’m going to try to share more of that with you.
I partnered with Fresh Beauty for this New York Fashion Week to show what I do to get ready for the busy week and what I stash in my bag to stay, well, fresh, as some days I don’t go home from morning until night!
It’s the perfect partnership because I’m truly a Fresh fan girl. I always keep one Fresh Beauty Sugar Lip Treatment in my handbag, one in my diaper bag, and one in my styling set bag because I’m usually too busy to apply lipstick. It’s the only lip color that’s basically fool-proof in my life. It keeps my lips hydrated and the color never looks bad as it fades. The colors actually last a while too. It’s a bonus that they’re made with natural ingredients, SPF15 and you can even use them as a cheek tint.
All you need is either this balm with just a hint of color or if I feel like I need a bit more color, I’m obsessed with the color Punch (which I wore to NYFW in my latest Instagram post), Poppy (which is a great color for fall), and the new color, Spice, which is quite possibly the most perfect nude lip color I’ve every worn. If you have a friend that’s a beauty junkie, chances are one of these cult favorite treatments are in her arsenal like mine.
